Wrens visit St Mary’s church.

As part of their RE topic "Which places are special and why?" Reception visited St Mary's church today. The children enjoyed completing a spotter sheet to identify the features of a Christian church.  We were very impressed with how much they had remembered from the work we had done in class.  We counted how many crosses we could find (6 in the church and lots on the gravestones) and also enjoyed choosing our favourite kneelers.
We finished our trip with some games on the Village Green before walking back to school.
