It was an absolute joy to see the children arriving at school in their World Book Day costumes! We were all so impressed with the effort and creativity that went into so many of them. We started the day with an assembly where we listened to the story of Alice in Wonderland before the children went off in their houses and took part in some fun and exciting activities linked to thur story. We were designing our own Wonderland through the keyhole, we designed an invitation to the Mad Hatter's tea party, created a short play containing an array of characters and designed our very own Wonderland themed potion. We were incredibly proud of how well the children collaborated with one another. We were especially impressed with our KS2 children who worked hard to support their younger peers.
