We had an incredibly full second day. There was so much to learn about life in the capital city of Wales. The Senedd or Welsh parliament helped us to reflect on the importance of democracy. To emphasise this we held our own parliament. Ministers for different roles were appointed and we debated the removal of the willow dome near the adventure play area. 

From the bay, we ventured by boat up the River Taff to the castle grounds, a short walk to the museum. During this walk, there was graffitti and we had some discussion about its value and whether we like it or do not.

During our museum visit, we were able to see an original Rembrant and look at how art work has evolved over hundreds of years. There were also fascinating rocks and animals of all sorts to explore. We enjoyed an ice cream in the bay before some downtime at the park on the barrage overlooking the Bristol Channel.

The children have been a wonderful credit to our school and their families. In each place we have visited staff have commented on how interested and engaged they are and how well-mannered.
