The last two weeks we have been very creative making Christmas tree decorations. We recycled the wood from some of the branches from the school grounds. The branches were sliced into circle discs so we could draw a Christmas item onto the wood and then mark where we needed nails  hammering. We threaded wool around the nails to create our Christmas picture. KS1 children used twigs to make natural wreaths to decorate the tree.

A team of pupils visited St. Mary's Church in Stanford Bridge to decorate our tree. The finished tree looked very festive. The tree festival is on over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd of December if you would like to visit.
