The CREW performed the story of Jesus overturning the tables in the temple to Reception and Year 1 during their Oscar the Owl Collective Worship today. In their discussions the children thought about the story from the point of view of the value of Justice and decided that the market traders were very unfair as they cheated the people who had come to worship in the temple. The children thought that a temple should be a calm and peaceful place where people had time and space to pray to God.
