This week the Wrens have been learning all about measuring in maths and comparing the length and height of objects using the correct vocabulary- longer, shorter, taller, shorter, bigger, smaller.

The children were given the challenge of placing themselves in height order from tallest to shortest and worked really well to achieve this. Then they worked independently to draw around their foot to create their footprint and find objects which were longer or shorter than their footprint. The children did really well and understood they had to line the objects up carefully to measure accurately. Maybe they could have a go at the same activities at home!
