Reception had lots of fun at outdoor learning this week creating journey sticks.  Journey sticks originated amongst the Aboriginal people in Australia.  They created journey sticks as a map to help them remember where they had been.  We created our own journey sticks to show the route of our walk around school.  We had to demonstrate teamwork and perseverance to attach the items we found securely to our journey stick.
