History L.O: To explore the life and achievements of Florence Nightingale.

Today we are going to learn about the very well-known and respected Victorian, Florence Nightingale. Rather than me writing paragraphs about who exactly she was and WHY she is so infamous, you are going to do this as today's lesson.

Activity 1: Tomorrow, we will be writing a biography about Florence Nightingale. However, in order to write a biography all about her,  we need to find out who she was and why she was so important. The subheadings below will be the subheadings of your biography. Write out the subheadings and note take (bullet point) under each one, answering the questions below using your own research. There are some very useful links below. Remember, you are NOT writing the biography today, you are collecting information which will help you write it tomorrow.

P.E.

At a time where we all find ourselves indoors for the most of the day, we should bear in mind how important daily exercise is for our health and wellbeing, particularly our mental health. If you are able to, take your device somewhere with plenty of space (even the garden on a nice sunny day) or clear some space in front of your computer and follow along with Joe Wicks for a 30 minute workout. I will definitely be doing the same!
