I can not believe it is October next week, where has September gone!
Thankyou for taking the time to complete the parent/ carer questionnaire last week and next week I will share the headline feedback via the newsletter. It has been really useful to find out what parents view as our strengths and areas for development. A change I have implemented this week, regarding classroom information and communication is that every week the class timetable/ homework will remain as a weekly feature on the classroom news section of the newsletter and not just in the first communication at the start of term.
I wanted to share with you Q.2 as I believe if children feel safe in their environment then this is a positive building block which can support so many other areas of school life and have a positive impact on learning.
When I asked KS2 pupils the same question, the replies mirrored their parents.
On Monday your child will be bringing home a data sheet. Please can you check all the information we hold in school is accurate and up to date ( especially phone numbers) and if not please correct it on the data sheet. Once this information is uploaded the data sheet will be shreaded.
Parents who have consented for their child to receive the nasal flu spray, this will be administered on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Years 4&5 are out of school on our first educational visit of the term to the Hindu Temple in Birmingham.
Have an enjoyable weekend and I will see you all on Monday morning.
Yours sincerely
Claire Shelley, Interim Headteacher
