Thank you to our wonderful Friends for organising a super silent disco tonight. It was a hit with all pupils and the photo booth was a popular new addition.
This week, our safety group led an impressive assembly on Safer Internet Day. Their confident presentation on identifying scams and phishing demonstrated excellent communication skills. PC Molly and PSCO Abigail were particularly impressed with our pupils' online safety knowledge, reinforcing the importance of this crucial life skill.

Our recent house singing competition was nothing short of spectacular! The performances were passionate, enthusiastic, heart warming, and at times, downright hilarious. The judges were so impressed that they couldn't pick an overall winner. If you'd like to experience this musical extravaganza for yourself, we invite you to join us at the village hall on Thursday, 27th February, at around 9am, just after drop-off where we will perform for one last time.
I'm delighted to announce that we raised £90 for Children's Mental Health Day. Our mindful group is excited to use these funds to enhance our school's wellbeing area.
Looking ahead, parent evening appointments will be available to book from tomorrow. Please remember to scroll through and save your chosen slot to ensure it's registered on our online system. The evenings are scheduled for 4th March (4pm-7pm) and 6th March (3.30pm-6pm).
We're also excited about our wildlife area project and need your help! Save the date for Sunday, 2nd March, from 10am to 1pm, when we need some physical help to clear the pond, help clearing some mud and maybe move some bark chippings. If anyone is handy with a chainsaw and can cut some logs to make seats, please see Mrs Shelley.
When we return to school, see if you can spot the location of our newly installed bird box. It has a solar camera attached so we can observe any nesting birds. Thank you to William Towle for this wonderful leaving present.
As we break for half-term, I wish you all a restful and enjoyable week. We look forward to welcoming everyone back, refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning and growth.
