First and foremost, we've had the pleasure of hosting Ofsted inspectors in our school this week. The inspection was thorough and rigorous, as expected. While we eagerly await the official report, which will likely be released after the Easter holiday due to the short timeframe before the break, we're feeling positive about the outcome. I'd like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in our school community for your unwavering support during this important process. Your positive engagement truly made a difference.
On the sporting front, we have some fantastic news to celebrate! Our netball team has done us proud by securing first place in the recent tournament. This outstanding achievement means they will now represent our cluster in the final next Friday. We're all rooting for them and wish them the very best of luck as they compete at this higher level.
Yesterday brought us a glorious day of sunshine, perfect for our whole-school cricket event. It was a joy to see every single pupil in the school out on the field, bat in hand, enjoying the sport. The enthusiasm and energy were palpable, and it was wonderful to witness the spirit of teamwork and fair play in action.
I'm also delighted to share some wonderful news about our recent parents' disco. Thanks to your incredible support and participation, we raised an astounding £2,935.66! This fantastic sum will allow us to move forward with our plans to redecorate the school hall, creating an even more vibrant and welcoming space for our pupils.
As always, I'm immensely proud of our school community. Your continued support, the pupils' achievements, and the dedication of our staff all contribute to making Abberley Parochial v.c. Primary School a truly special place. Here's to many more successes and sunny days ahead!
